Back in 2006, Andrea Wozny took her first trip to Mali, West Africa – one of the most profound centers of rich musical tradition in the world. There she had the privilege of documenting the beginnings of Vieux Farka Touré’s music career – a career that carried on the legacy of his father, three-time Grammy winning guitarist, Ali Farka Touré.
